Tomoko Kuroki is a 15 year old girl who has trouble making friends. She craves for companionship but has difficulty talking to people. Her only friend is Yuu-chan, a previous classmate from middle school.
She’s extremely shy yet strives to be popular. It’s not much better romantic wise. Being very experienced in simulation dating video games doesn’t help her in real life but high school is starting and she’s set on improving her ways.
The anime is interspersed with hilarious but cringy moments that are hard to watch. I often had to look away, the cringe is that strong. There are some very emotional scenes too that express how lonely and sad Tomoko feels at times.
